Radio |
The radio can be set to OFF if you do not have any extra units. It will also reduce the power consumption. |
|
Radio Channel |
There is no need to change the channel unless you experiance communication problems with Ontech units. If the channel is changed, it must also be changed on all units. |

Other settings | ||
Unit for timer |
When a relay is set for a specific time, this setting defines if the time should be counted in seconds, minutes or hours. |
|
Battery messages |
If this setting is OFF, no "low battery" message will be sent (only Ontech GSM 9025). |
|
Status |
If this is set to a phone number, all status and update requests will be sent to this number instead of the mobile phone that sent the original request. |
|
GPS Fence |
Only for Ontech GSM 9025: If you have a GPS connected, this will set the allowed size of the GPS Fence function. |
|
24 Volt |
Select ON if the master is powered by 24V. This setting only affects at which battery level the "battery low"-SMS will be sent (only Ontech GSM 9025). |
|
Alarm blink |
If this setting is OFF, the red LED will never blink when there is an alarm. |
|
Server mode (for version R40 or later) |
Server mode only works for the master relay. It means: 1. Relay is always ON after power failure. 2. It is not possible to control the relay with the button. 3. It is not possible to control the relay with SMS, except that the Relay timer function will still work. With Relay timer it is possible to turn the relay OFF for a specific number of seconds (or minutes). This is useful to restart the server. 4. Alarm will always be activated and is not possible to deactivate with SMS. |
|
Sensor (4-20mA) settings | ||
Sensor |
If this is active, you can connect a 4-20 mA sensor to the third pin of the temperature sensor connector. The 4-20 mA signal will be converted to a value between 0% and 100%. It also is possible to connect a 0-10V sensor to this pin. ON (no SMS) means you will not get any SMS when no current is detected. Contact us for more information (www.ontechgsm.com). |
|
Alarm level under |
An SMS will be sent every time the 4-20 mA sensor goes under this level. |
|
Alarm level over |
An SMS will be sent every time the 4-20 mA sensor goes over this level. |
Help
Garage opener
The garage opener feature makes it possible to program up to three phone numbers (position 1 to 3).
When any programmed number calls the GSM unit, it will directly hang up the call and give a pulse (activate the relay) for one second. This pulse can be used to control a garage opener motor.
